An import permit is required for all pets entering Grand Cayman. This can be obtained from the Department of Agriculture, and it’s advisable to apply well in advance of your travel date. 

Your pet will need a health certificate issued by a licensed veterinarian within 14 days of travel, stating that the animal is in good health and has received all necessary vaccinations, including rabies. 

Pets must be microchipped with an ISO 11784/11785 compliant 15-digit pet microchip.
