What Is CayFilm?
CayFilm is a marvelous film festival that encompasses several days of numerous film screenings. Each of these featured films showcases the abundant beauty of the Cayman Islands with the main goal of encouraging people to visit this destination and promote the islands as an up-and-coming spot to shoot a documentary. CayFilm is also responsible for the creation of the Cayman Media Academy, a program designed to educate interested students all about the realm of cinema and how to create their own films.
When and Where Does CayFilm Take Place?
CayFilm is held every summer in the Cayman Islands. It usually spans from the end of June to the beginning of July. Just check the CayFilm website for this year’s date! The films are shown in various venues around the islands, including The Ritz-Carlton Grand Cayman, the Harquail Theatre, and the National Gallery.
