About the Flowers Sea Swim
How can you resist the beautiful blue waters of the Caribbean? Whether you are a first-time competitor or a seasoned swimming veteran, you are welcome to participate in the Flowers Sea Swim. You’ll see everyone from children to Olympians competing! There are three different events: the one-mile swim, 3K, and 10K. If you’re not a swimmer, you can still participate by registering for the Ms. Penny Walk & Watch and view the races from the beach.
The Prizes
Prizes always make competitions more fun, and the Flowers Sea Swim is the world’s richest open water event. More than $100,000 in cash and random prizes are available to win! The odds of winning a random prize are one in seven, so you have a pretty good chance of going home with an awesome souvenir. In the past, these prizes have included iPads, hotel stays, and airline tickets.
The Courses
All of the races are held right on Seven Mile Beach, so you’ll be just a short walk away when you stay at The Residences Seven Mile Beach in Grand Cayman! The boundaries are marked by buoys, and there is a strict process for beginning the race because so many people participate each year. To start, you must make sure you go through the headcount. Once you have finished, you must swim through the finish line to get your time recorded.

Registering to Race is easy! You can easily register and pay online. There are limits to each event, so make sure you register as soon as possible to secure your spot.
The Ms. Penny Walk & Watch
If you don’t want to participate in the Flowers Sea Swim but still want to support the cause, you can be a part of the Ms. Penny Walk & Watch. Spend the day on the beach watching your friends and family compete while still donating to a good cause. If you register, you’ll be eligible for random prizes, too! Your chances of winning are one in ten.
